St Croix UL Baitcasting Rod 2-6lb

The 6' St Croix Ultra Lite blank rated at 2-6lb. Fast action blank.

Handle setting.

The rod was extended 3" at the butt to make it 6'3" in length.

Carbon tube added to the split handle section with 'RED' winding check at both side.

ACS Gloss black reel seat from Matagi and the cork grip was coated with U40 Cork  seal.

FA Phenix UL Spinning Rod

Completed this not long ago...  Another 2 section Phenix Elixir UL blank.

With selected spinning guides 'minima' series from PacBay.



I used Fuji VSSM reel seat with uplocking KDPS and cork grips.

This first proposal was shot down.... Now, comes another.

The 2nd choice was preferred.


Then on goes with the installation and wrapping of guides.

Simple built up to minimize the weight of this rod.

And that's is about all for this little UL spinning rod, but don't let the size of this lil'rod fools you..
